Turmeric has some amazing benefits for the gut and digestive system. Traditionally it helps strengthen your digestion, relieve wind and improve gut flora (bacteria).
I know turmeric can have a really earthy and bitter taste but blended together with these ingredients it taste a lot better.
1 Cup of Almond Milk - I use Rude Health Almond Drink
1 Teaspoon of Turmeric
1/2 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
1 Expresso shot
1 Teaspoon of Almond butter
In a nutribullet blitz together all the ingredients making sure the dates and almond butter is well blended in.
Pour into a pan and warm. To make it extra frothy, use a hand whisky before pouring into a mug.
